About:
Hi, I'm Leo.
I've spent years sitting with people in the thick of it — trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and the thousand quiet ways life can wear you down. I've also led addiction recovery groups, which taught me that healing isn't neat or linear — it's bold, imperfect, and deeply human.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, CBT, and DBT (certified), but the most important part is always the connection: two people trying to make sense of life together. Through my own challenges and painful chapters, I've learned to apply what I teach in a firsthand way — proof that growth isn't abstract; it's lived.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher for many years, and that part of me never left. I love asking questions, exploring ideas, and helping people rediscover what's already inside them.
Outside of my work, I'm passionate about art, music, and philosophy — anything that explores what it means to be human. I value movement and challenge, stay active through a mix of exercise that keeps both mind and body engaged, and stay regularly involved in volunteer work that keeps me connected to the shared experience of helping others.
